Dangers of Facebook

Facebook is the biggest invader of privacy in the history of mankind.

It started off with an inocuous requirement to use your real names. Unfortunately this requirement was combined with another secret feature unknown to most. You cannot delete anything on Facebook! Ever!

Again this would sound benign if you think you had actual privacy settings on Zucking Facebook. Again, I will surprise you by telling you that your private data leaves your zuckbook account like a leaking sieve and only to be found in third party social media aggregator sites like AXCIOM, Intellius, Spokeo, People Finders, BeenVerified.com and on and on.

Additionally data collected by your friends about your are automatically matched to your profile based on your relationships or locations as crowd-verified by uploaded photos.

These then are combined with every comment, like, share, tag that you do or others do to you to create an exacting profile of you and your personality.

This then can be used to 'adjust' the content in your timeline so it is skewed to what someone else wants you to think.

If you think the tracking only occurs while you are on Zuckbook, think again. Your browsing activities are spied upon and uploaded to Facebook databases using tricky little supercookies and spy software which most websites willingly embed in their Websites via the FB Like button.

Try deleting all your content from Zuckbook and you will be surprised to find out that much of your content is still searchable via your friends. Of course this is ingeniously stated with legal speak in Facebook's End User License Agreement.

Stop the constant export of your data and the insidious data collection. Delete your Facebook content and Facebook account so at least the leaking ends.
