TOR Wifi Router
Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against traffic analysis, a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security.
Tor protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, and it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location.
TOR can be downloaded as a browser, as explained in the TOR Browser section of resources. But the limitations of a browser solution is that it only hides your browsing traffic. It does not affect other internet traffic that is visible on the Internet.
In computer lingo, web browsing traffic is limited to http and https protocols. Other protocols are used to send data on the Internet. Just a few examples are Webrtc, DNS, FTP, SSH, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, to name some common ones. This means you are constantly leaking your IP address. All of your emails will show your actual IP address if you have no VPN.
The most advanced solution for blocking people from identifying you is from a TOR Router. As contrasted to a VPN solution, a TOR Router will change your IP Address at least every 10 minutes, with 800 rotating possibilities (typically).
This is why I developed a TOR Wifi Router, for use at home that will server as a Wifi alternative whenever you want your traffic to be super secure.
This is very similar to the new BytzVPN with TOR option I'm also offering but this is a device at your house. It has the added security of end-to-end TOR Routing since it's in your presence. Thus eliminating the possibility of tampering.
